🧵 We are a small team of makers who fell for string art and kept asking the same question: how does a face appear out of a single thread? One Thread Portrait is our hands-on answer.
🔨 Our mission is to make a slow, beautiful craft feel doable on a weekend. We want beginners to have a clear path from the first nail to the last, without spreadsheets or guesswork.

One Thread Portrait does not collect, store or transmit any data. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.
None. We do not collect personal information, usage data, device identifiers or location. The photos you choose are used only on your device to build your pattern.
Because we hold no information, we do not use, analyze, share or sell any. Your photos, notes and progress are yours alone.
Panels, notes and progress are saved locally on your device only. There is no cloud storage and no server holding your work.
The app includes no analytics, advertising networks or trackers, and sends nothing to third parties.
As your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security, such as your passcode and system encryption. We recommend keeping your device updated.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, which is consistent with COPPA. The app is safe for families to craft with.
There are no accounts to create or delete. To remove all of your panels and photos, simply uninstall the app.
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Our core promise of no data collection will remain.
